Unity School District will remain in the In-Person Learning Model for PK-12 students at this time and for the week following Spring Break. Similarly, the Virtual Learning Option remains unchanged.
Most recently, staff levels at Unity remain adequate and there have been only two positive cases at school in the previous two weeks. These factors allowed the District to remain with in-person learning in each school.
If you are traveling over Spring Break next week, please review the COVID travel restrictions. Travel information from the County Health Department is on the District website on the COVID page. Information is also available on the CDC website. International travel requires a 7-day quarantine upon return. Domestic travel precautions are dependent upon location and contacts. In addition, while on Spring Break if you or anyone in your household has a close contact or is confirmed as COVID positive, please communicate with Nurse Julie.
The best approach to ensure the continuation of the in-person learning model is to not send your child to school if they are ill or are experiencing COVID related symptoms. If your child is ill, please keep them home and contact Nurse Julie.
