Congratulations to all 7th and 8th grade band and choir members on an amazing performance last night!
Congratulations! Student Council, Staff, and Students for raising $1239.71 to donate to the Polk County Mental Health Taskforce. All money raised will benefit youth programs and services.

There will be open gym for any middle school student wanting to improve their basketball skills Friday, May 17, 6:00-7:30 in the Middle School gym.
8th graders interested in joining student council in high school should fill out an application. Applications can be picked up in the middle school office. They are due on May 17th.
8th Grade Girls: Any eighth grade female student interested in listening to Hallie Allen’s presentation about her newly founded female fitness and workout group Simply Strong, can head down to room 343 (health room) at the beginning of home room on May 21, during homeroom. The presentation will last about 15 min. Information about the group and why it was created will be talked about in this presentation. This is a great opportunity for eighth grade females to hear about an involvement opportunity they can partake in as they enter high school.

Save Time in the Lunch Line: Take Fruit/Veggies Everyday! You must choose at least 1⁄2 cup of fruit, vegetable or a combination of the 2 in order to have a complete meal. This is a requirement of the National School Lunch Program. Be sure to take fruit and/or veggies as you go through the lunch line. If you don’t, you will be sent back to the line to get fruit/veggies. Please be respectful of your lunch staff members and follow their directions.
