High School Announcements 2.5.2019

February 5, 2019

CTE Student of the day:

Did you know that February is Career and Technical Education month?  Career and technical education honors students in business education, agriculture, and technical education classes.  As a result, Mrs. Ahlgren, Mrs. Jagielo, and Mr. Lee will choose a CTE student each day this month to honor in observance of their hard work within the CTE program.  Each student will also be given a small prize for working so hard.

2/4 Today's CTE student of the day is Logan Soper. Logan has really taken ownership of his role as SkillsUSA president. He is always looking for ways to better improve Skills and get students involved. During class he strives to improve and is always trying to help fellow students who are struggling to better understand concepts and how to complete a project. Wish Logan luck as he competes in Power Sports at the Regional Competition for SkillsUSA at the end of this month. Congratulations to Logan, and please stop by Mr. Lee’s classroom to pick up your prize!

2-5  Today’s CTE Student of the is Aaliyah Bowers.  Aaliyah placed first in her competitive event at the regional level competition this past weekend in Superior.  With the help of her partner, she created a 27 page business plan proposal, which wowed the judges. In addition to being involved in FBLA, Aaliyah challenges herself by taking challenging CTE courses like Financial Accounting and Marketing.  Furthermore, she hopes to work in the marketing field someday. Congratulations to Aaliyah and please stop by Mrs. Ahlgren’s room to pick-up a prize!
