NOTICE OF POSITIONS OPENING – MORNING GYM STUDENT WORKERS
Position: Unity School District is now accepting applications for a morning
(6:45 – 7:45 a.m.) gym student worker, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications Necessary: Candidates must be 16 years of age, in good academic standing, responsible, and have good communication skills. Please contact the District Office with any questions.
How to Apply: Please complete an employment application and a cover letter explaining your interest in the position. The employment application can be found on the Unity School District webpage, under Employment Opportunities. Hard copies of the employment application are also available in the District Office. Please submit the application and cover letter to Amanda Warner in the district office or by email at awarner@unity.k12.wi.us

Believe with Bekah – As many of you know, FBLA has 14 state qualifiers this year at Regionals. The team is set to leave for their state tournament on April 7th, 2019. To show our support, if you ordered a Believe with Bekah T-shirt, please wear it on April 5th (the day before the state competition). If you didn’t purchase a shirt, please consider wearing yellow that day to support our chapter.
Volunteers/Community Service Hours are needed – to help clean the Gandy Dancer trail for Earth Day in April. If interested, contact Julia from Julia’s Java. 715-825-5282
Meetings
Ag on the Lawn Informational Meeting - All FFA members and students that have taken an agriculture class this school year are welcome to attend the Ag on the Lawn informational meeting. This meeting will be today in the Ag Room during Resource. Attendance is mandatory if you would like to apply for an Ag on the Lawn display. All interested student exhibitors must complete an application and must have their Unity privileges.
Senior Trip Meeting – will be held in Mr. Colletti’s room during Resource today.
Bus Race Meeting - during 6th hour in Mr. Lee’s room today for those interested in working on the bus.
Football Players – There is a meeting for all athletes interested in playing football next fall in Mr. Grant Johnson’s room today at the beginning of 6th hour. If you plan on playing, make sure you are at this important meeting!
Blood Drive Donor Meeting - Are you 16 or older and interested in saving lives? If so, please consider donating blood at the Unity FFA Blood Drive! There will be an informational meeting Thursday, April 4th during Resource for all interested donors. Stop by to receive information about being a donor and sign up for a donor time! If you can’t make the meeting, please see Chase K, Megan G, or Molly T for information about getting signed up.
Mandatory Skills USA meeting – Thursday during 6th hour in Mr. Lee’s room.
FFA Officer Meeting: Every 1st/3rd Wednesday in the Ag room during Resource.
FFA Chapter Meeting: Every 2nd/4th Wednesday in the Ag room during Resource.

Lunch Thursday: Chicken Nuggets/Sweet Potato Waffle Fries/Cheez-it Crackers/Pineapple
Save Time in the Lunch Line: Take Fruit/Veggies every day! You must choose at least ½ cup of fruit, vegetable or a combination of the 2 in order to have a complete meal. This is a requirement of the National School Lunch Program. Be sure to take fruit and/or veggies as you go through the lunch line. If you don’t, you will be sent back to the line to get fruit/veggies. Please be respectful of your lunch staff members and follow their directions.
