Do You Qualify? You are you a Federally Connected Family if one or more applies to you:
✅Live on Native American Land or Round Lake Community (Native American or Civilian).
✅Are employed by the St. Croix Casino or Tribal Government (Native American or Civilian).
✅ Live on Federal Land (Military Base, National Park, etc.) or in Low-Income Housing.
✅ Serve in the U.S. Uniformed Services or work for the Federal Government in any capacity (VA Hospital, Army Corp. of Engineers, U.S. Forestry Service, National Laboratory, Federal Dams, etc.).
Why is this survey important? The Unity School District is 1 of 20 school districts in Wisconsin that qualifies for Federal Impact Aid to help support our classrooms. This funding is designed to replace local tax revenue lost due to tax-exempt federal properties and Federal Employees within our district boundaries. 🏘️
The funds we receive from this grant directly support all students by helping cover the costs of staffing, academic programs, counseling, student services, and more. A higher response rate helps ensure we receive the maximum funding available for our schools! 📈
