📣 Unity High School’s Raise Your Voice Club spent an inspiring day in Madison at NAMI’s Youth Advocacy Day!
Students learned about civic advocacy, mental health policy, and how to use their voices to create meaningful change. They then put those skills into action by meeting with a representative from Senator Romaine Quinn’s office to advocate for continued support of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and school‑based mental health services.
A huge thank you to the Mental Health Task Force of Polk County and the Polk County Suicide Awareness Walk. Funds raised through the walk and donated to the Unity School District helped make this powerful learning experience possible. ♥️

We are excited to feature some artists for Youth Art Month! 🎨🖌️
Solomon is an ambitious fourth‑grade artist. He says, “When I draw, I like to really focus on one thing at a time. Art is how I express how I am feeling.”
Great work, Solomon! Keep on shining! 👏🏻☀️

Our 7th and 8th graders took their curiosity to new heights as they explored even more remarkable landmarks from around the world. After diving into the history, engineering, and cultural significance of famous Wonders, each team selected one standout site to study in depth.
From surprising facts to engineering puzzles, students transformed their learning into bright, detailed posters that highlighted what makes each Wonder truly extraordinary. And for the big finale, they brought their chosen Wonder to life with LEGO creations! 🧱
The creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm in the room made this another WONDERful adventure in learning. 👏🏻
