📣 Unity High School’s Raise Your Voice Club spent an inspiring day in Madison at NAMI’s Youth Advocacy Day!

Students learned about civic advocacy, mental health policy, and how to use their voices to create meaningful change. They then put those skills into action by meeting with a representative from Senator Romaine Quinn’s office to advocate for continued support of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and school‑based mental health services.
A huge thank you to the Mental Health Task Force of Polk County and the Polk County Suicide Awareness Walk. Funds raised through the walk and donated to the Unity School District helped make this powerful learning experience possible. ♥️
